Job Interviews

Sometimes I have a hard time living with work. Especially when it’s work I don’t like, or want to do.

I hate hearing that I’m not qualified for certain things. How do they know? If I have the drive and believe it’s something I can accomplish then there should be no reason why I couldn’t achieve my goal.

They ask me questions about how I deal with things at work. They don’t understand what it’s like to work in the department I work in. I’ve tried to ignore it; I’ve tried to get involved, now I’ve tried fixing it. If I were older they would listen better. If I didn’t have long hair they would listen better. If I were Christian they would listen better. If they had respect and honor they would listen better. Alas, they do not. They have asked me questions about how I deal with things at work, do they not expect the truth?

I haven't slept yet. 23 hours and counting. Grandmas coming over, that should be good. Seeing Erica pretty quick here.

Oh yeah, the AMPTP is a giant cluster fucking shit hole. they have greasy little stubby fingers that grab for cash at any chance. Way to fucking ruin the holidays you dumb ass pieces of corporate shit.

I saw some black people the other day speaking hate words to each other, and smoking at the gas station I was at. I tattled on them to the gas attendant. worthless pieces of shit. Go do something with your lives. I'm not a racist, that shit is just intolerable.

I guess I'm pretty aggravated.

No Man Is Just A Number.

As you can no doubt tell from the previous post I am a fan of LOST the TV series. I was introduced to another TV show that was very similar to what LOST is as far as taste is concerned. The name of this TV show is The Prisoner. The Prisoner is a real interesting spy thriller from the late 60's, I'd describe it as cool, but I'm afraid its more "mod" than cool. . .if you get my drift. I've been looking at Vloging lately maybe in some sort of scifi show format. First have to get a camcorder. The one I currently feel is necessary to my line of work (movie making) and the one I want the most, I cannot afford. So, I suppose like most other things in life I'll have to settle. I was looking at those new Flip camcorders. We'll see what happens. . .I have to evaluate the actual quality of the device and the editing software it comes with. I've read a mixture of reviews for the device and it's either,"It works perfect! and is a nice little camcorder" (they normally post a video with these comments that look really great) OR, "Something is wrong with the memory in the device, and I have to reboot my entire computer after trying to upload" (Obviously no video is accompanied by this comment). I called Best Buy, but they weren't as informative as you might imagine. hmm . . .

This kid, is an idiot. Not because he walked into a mall in Omaha, Nebraska and shot 9 people dead, but because he said in the note he left to his landlord, "now he'll be famous". There is an obvious difference between the word famous, and infamous. You, Mr. Hawkins, are the latter. He also said in the note, "he was a piece of shit all his life". I don't think that's true. I think he may have been a disturbed individual that needed someone to talk to, and someone who could be a companion to him. But he wasn't a "piece of shit" until he walked into that mall and decided to open fire on people.

LOST THEORIES

The Island is a small planet that’s crashed on Earth, and is floating in the earth’s oceans. That covers the whole magnetism thing right? Is something like this even possible? Maybe the island does some kind of rolling maneuver though the ocean and that’s why the black rock was so far inland? This may seem really stupid to someone know knows quantum physics better than myself, but then again when I was in physics class I was known to ask way out there questions. Real theoretical like stuff.

What if maybe the island was being converted into some sort of giant weapon by the Hanso Foundation? Or had some natural weapon of mass destruction on it? I think it would explain why the freighter people are so intent on finding the island, why Ben has tried so hard to protect it, why Jacob doesn't like technology, and why there's a giant smoke monster securing it.

I came up with this theory while re watching the Locke and Jacob meeting. Maybe Jacob is the spirit/power/force of the Island. I think that the shack houses the power/spirit/force of the island. I also think you can somehow harness this “Jacob” of the Island with your mind when you're in the shack making any other people around you see/hear/feel things that aren’t there. I think Ben can harness this “Jacob” and wanted to make Locke feel like he couldn't see Jacob, therefore detaching the idea that Locke was somehow superior to Ben. Three things add up to this conclusion. The first being the fire didn't keep going when the lantern was knocked over. Second, when Ben came out of the shack he seemed like he was shot, maybe this connection with the “Jacob” somehow makes you weak and drained his energy. Third, maybe the main reason why Ben shot Locke was because Locke harnessed the power of the Island . . . maybe that “Help Me” was the voice of the Island, or of the inside of Locke? Also Electricity could somehow disrupt this Jacob power/spirit/force Island connection.
